Clash Mini

The new supercell game clash mini beta was released 2 weeks ago in select countries. The game is based on supercells‘ 2 big clash games, Clash of Clans and Clash Royale. From the first trailers to the beta launch I was so hyped for this game. This is an overview of what the game is and my thoughts.

Overview

Supercell Reveals Three New Clash Games: Clash Mini, Clash Heroes and Clash Quest!

Clash mini consists of a board and miniatures. During the break of each round each player gets to place minis or upgrade already placed minis however you have to be careful because you are restrained by only getting 6 elixirs each round. Once a round starts the combat is simulated and whoever has the last standing piece wins. The goal of the game is to win 3 rounds before your opponent does. The game is intended to be easy and f2p, but still has lots of depth and skill gap for committed players. On the gameplay side, they are trying to make a casual strategy game that everyone can play, so they decided to focus 100% on the strategy part over the real-time control, like Clash of Clans and Clash Royale. This accessible and lighthearted strategy game is made for everyone.

My thoughts

I love the game because it lets me strategize where I place minis while not worrying about real-time control. Also, I love how the game is free to play like Clash Royale. However, I have some problems with the game like how some minis are too good. I also don’t like how hard it is to adjust your minis once they are on the board. Other than that I love clash mini and am excited for its global release.
